Trudie Le Marie studied at The Surrey Institute of Art & Design and graduated with a degree in Fashion Promotion & Illustration. She then began her career assisting fashion stylists before gaining a full-time job at the Daily Express as Fashion Assistant. Working her way up she then became an in-house stylist, styling still-life pages as well as main fashion and compiling shopping pages for both the Daily Express and the Sunday Express Magazine.
In March 2004 she became Fashion Editor. Working across all three Express titles – Daily Express, Saturday Express and Sunday Express. Heading the fashion team she scheduled and organised fashion shoots, features, and relevant news pieces.
In 2006 there were structural changes to the Sunday Express Magazine resulted in Trudie focusing on only the Sunday Express titles. As Fashion Editor she produced a fashion news page called Fashion Notebook, four pages of themed still life pages, and catwalk inspired shopping pages, as well as 4 – 6 pages of main fashion and often the cover.
During her time at the Express she worked on many collaborations with prestigious brands such as River Island, New Look, Next, Matalan, Marks & Spencer, Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Debenhams, Nike, Evans, Wallis, and La Perla.
In December 2009 Trudie went freelance and since then has been styling editorial shoots, advertising projects, portraits, and new bands.
